Tours module
Tour package software for tour operators and travel agencies
- Day-by-day itineraries
- Seat inventory for every departure date
- Deposit or full payment online

Features
What the tours module does
Itinerary builder
Lay out each tour day by day, so travellers can see exactly what happens and where they stay before they book.
Fixed and on-request departures
Sell scheduled departures on set dates, or let travellers request a date and confirm it yourself.
Seat inventory per date
Give each departure its own seat limit; the count drops with every booking, so you never sell more places than you have.
Child pricing
Set separate prices for children, so families see an accurate total before they pay.
Deposits or full payment
Let travellers secure a place with a deposit or pay in full online, by card or bank transfer.
Sell through agents
On Agency and Enterprise plans, sub-agents sell your tours at their own rates from the B2B agent portal.
How it works
From first search to a confirmed booking
- 01
Create the tour
Write the itinerary day by day and set the prices for adults and children.
- 02
Add departures
Set fixed dates with a seat limit for each, or mark the tour as available on request.
- 03
Publish and sell
The tour goes live on your booking website, and on the agent portal if you sell through sub-agents.
- 04
Collect payment and confirm
Take a deposit or full payment, track any balance due and send the traveller their confirmation.
What tour package software does
Tour package software gives a tour operator one place to describe a trip, control how many people can join each departure and take money for it. Instead of updating spreadsheets and replying to enquiries one by one, you publish the tour once and let travellers book the dates that still have space.
In TravelBookingPanel the tour module is included from the Starter plan. Tours appear on your customer booking website, are managed in the admin back office and, on Agency and Enterprise plans, can be sold by sub-agents.
Fixed departures and on-request tours
Most operators sell a mix of the two. A fixed departure runs on a set date with a set number of places — a seven-day group tour leaving on the first of each month, for example. An on-request tour has no fixed date: the traveller asks for the date they want and you confirm once you have checked guides, vehicles and hotels. The panel supports both, so a private tour and a scheduled group trip can sit side by side in your catalogue.
Seat inventory, child pricing and deposits
- Seat inventory per date. Each departure has its own limit, and the remaining places update as bookings come in.
- Child pricing. Children can be priced separately from adults, so a family booking shows the right total.
- Deposits or full payment. You decide whether a tour takes a deposit to hold the place or full payment at booking.
- Your own inventory. Contracted hotels, group fares, tours and transfers can all be loaded and sold from the same panel.
What a good tour listing includes
Software handles the booking, but the listing still has to sell the trip. Most travellers decide from the itinerary, so it pays to be specific:
- What happens each day, including travel time between stops and where travellers sleep.
- What the price covers and what it does not — meals, entrance fees, guides, transfers.
- The meeting point and start time for the first day.
- Your deposit, balance and cancellation terms, written in plain language.
Tour operator booking software for B2B sales
Many tour operators earn as much through other agencies as they do direct. With the B2B agent portal on the Agency and Enterprise plans, each sub-agent logs in, sees your tours at the price you set for them and books against a prepaid wallet with top-up requests and statements. Markup and commission rules can be set per agent or product, and agents can hand their clients vouchers and invoices in their own brand.
Selling tours alongside flights and hotels
Because tours, flights and hotels share one admin back office and one traveller account, your team handles every part of a trip from the same place, and travellers find all their documents in one login. That makes it straightforward to start with tours and add other products as you grow.
A tour booking system you own
TravelBookingPanel is sold on a one-time licence with full source code, installed on your own domain and server, with no monthly fee and no commission on bookings. Hosting and payment-gateway fees are paid directly to those providers. Compare what each plan includes on the pricing page, or see the full list of features.
FAQ
Tour package manager: common questions
What is tour package software?
It is a system for publishing tours online with itineraries, departure dates, seat limits and prices, and for taking bookings and payments for them without manual back-and-forth.
Can I sell both fixed-date and private tours?
Yes. Fixed departures run on set dates with a seat limit, while on-request tours let the traveller ask for a date that you then confirm.
Can travellers pay a deposit?
Yes. For each tour you choose whether travellers pay a deposit to secure their place or the full amount at the time of booking.
Can other agencies sell my tours?
Yes, on the Agency and Enterprise plans. Sub-agents book through the B2B agent portal at the rates you set and pay from a prepaid wallet.
Which plan includes the tour module?
Tours are included in every plan, starting with Starter at $1,599 as a one-time licence with full source code.
